I&#039;m of a few minds on the topics you bring up.

First of all, the places in America I visit are upscale, tourist destinations where many Brits and Asians travel.  That means the supermarkets there have a decent selection of tea on offer.

When I&#039;ve been places like Kerrville, Texas or Athens, Ohio, they at least have loose-leaf Twinings, and I live.  I suffer through, but I survive. Somehow.

About the cafes, I don&#039;t know what I think about this.  Part of me wants to believe we need a Starbucks of tea, but maybe not.  I guess I agree with you, Pete, that the selection in the supermarket is crucial.  Maybe the most important thing.
